Chase Bank Branch In Millwood Is Robbed Again MILLWOOD, N.Y. -- New Castle Police announced that a robbery was reported on Friday at the Chase bank branch in Millwood. The robbery is the second to have occurred at the branch in less than two months. Police said that a man walked into the branch at around 5:30 p.m., approached a teller and demanded money. The man subsequently received the money - police are not disclosing how much - and less the branch. The suspect was described as being five feet, eight inches and having a "medium build." The Westchester County Medical Examiner's office identified the man as 29-year-old Haniel Reyes Rosario. Mount Kisco House Fire Kills Man, Burns Woman MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- A Tuesday morning residential fire in Mount Kisco claimed the life of one man and left a woman with minor burns, according to Fire Chief Mario Muccioli. The woman was saved by three village highway department employees who were doing recycling collection by the house, Muccioli recalled. The house is located at 121 St Marks Place. The employees, who were unable to save the man due to the intensity of the smoke and fire, called 911 in response. Chappaqua Library Seeks Input On What Services It Should Provide CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The Chappaqua Library is asking community members suggest what services it should provide over the next five years. The library announced that it will operate during the coming half decade under an updated version of its strategic plan. Six public-input sessions will be held at the library in the coming months, which three of them in late February and three more in early March. North Castle Library Offers Driving-Safety Course, Car-Insurance Discount ARMONK, N.Y. -- A driving-safety course at the North Castle Public Library could yield a 10-percent discount on car insurance, the library announced. The course, which will run for six hours, will lead to savings on insurance premiums for three years, the library noted. Drivers who complete the course can also get four points removed from their licenses. The cost to take the course is $55 for each driver. Three sessions are scheduled, which will be at the Whippoorwill Hall section of the library. The dates are Jan. 26, Feb. 2 and Feb. 23, with all running from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
