Lane Closures To Last Months On Busy Roadway In Northern Westchester Commuters who regularly travel on a busy roadway in Northern Westchester will soon have to endure lane closures for several months.  Beginning on Monday, Feb. 27 at midnight, one lane in both directions of Route 9A in Mount Pleasant between Beverly Road and Old Saw Mill River Road will close, according to an announcement by the New York Department of Transportation.  Drivers will have to deal with the closures until Sunday, June 18, officials said.  The lane closures are to allow for construction work.

Teen Charged With Stabbing Victim In Neck In West Hartford, Causing Serious Injuries: Police A 16-year-old faces attempted murder charges after allegedly stabbing a victim in the neck in West Hartford, police said.  The stabbing happened on Monday, Feb. 20 around 9 p.m., when West Hartford Police responded to a residence on Federal Street where the incident took place.  Once arriving at the residence, officers gave emergency medical care to the adult victim who had been stabbed. Man Steals Over $150K From Victim In Northern Westchester, Police Say A Hudson Valley man faces larceny charges after allegedly stealing more than $150,000 from a victim in Northern Westchester.  On Saturday, Feb. 18, around 4 p.m., a victim alerted police in Yorktown that a man had stolen a total of $160,000 from him on two occasions under false pretenses, according to Yorktown Police.  Officers then began an investigation into the incident and identified the suspect as 36-year-old Anthony Savino of Mahopac.
