Emergency Work: Ramp Between Parkway, Highway In Westchester Reopens A busy ramp carrying traffic between a parkway and a highway in Westchester has reopened after being closed for emergency work.  The ramp from the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway (Exit 20) to northbound Interstate 87 in Greenburgh has reopened after being shut down on Monday afternoon, May 22, the New York State Thruway Authority announced on Wednesday morning, May 24.  The ramp had been shut down for emergency maintenance work, according to Westchester County Police. The closure contributed to heavy traffic on the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway, police said.

Traffic Alert: Ramp Between Parkways In Westchester To Close Traffic between two busy parkways in Westchester will soon be interrupted by an upcoming ramp closure.  The ramp between the westbound Cross County Parkway to Exit 6 (Bronx River Parkway northbound) in Yonkers is scheduled to close between Monday, May 22 at 11 p.m. to Tuesday, May 23 at 5 a.m., according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closure is to allow for maintenance activities.  A posted detour will be available for motorists during the closure.
