Fireworks Mistaken For Gunshots Cause School To Lock Down In Hudson Valley A school in the Hudson Valley was put on lockdown after noises that sounded like gunshots were heard near the campus, police said. Lane Closure: Taconic State Parkway In Northern Westchester To Be Affected An upcoming lane closure will soon slow down traffic on a busy parkway in Westchester, officials said.
