Greeley's Class Of 2015 Graduates, Including Seven Valedictorians CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- An evening downpour failed to stop Horace Greeley High School's 84th annual graduation on Sunday, as speakers carried on despite the inclement weather. Attendees entered the ceremony's tent amid sunny weather; sunshine returned once the ceremony ended and as people exited. This year's graduation was unusual, as the class of 2015 included seven valedictorians and no salutatorian. Police Launch Investigation Of Greeley HS Drama Teacher On Leave CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- New Castle Police have opened an investigation relating to Horace Greeley High School drama teacher Christopher Schraufnagel's interactions with students, according to multiple reports. Daily Voice first reported on Thursday that Schraufnagel started a paid leave of absence, unanimously approved by the school board, coming just days before graduation. State Champion Byram Hills Baseball Team Gets Hometown Celebration ARMONK, N.Y. -- Days after winning a state championship, Byram Hills High School's baseball team was greeted with cheers in downtown Armonk as part of a parade and rally. Fox Lane Valedictorian, Salutatorian Honored By Pound Ridge Town Board POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Fox Lane High School's valedictorian and salutatorian for the Class of 2015 were honored by the Pound Ridge Town Board during a pair of recent ceremonies. Pound Ridge Town Board Narrowly Approves Vacant Storefronts Legislation POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Legislation intended to discourage commercial storefront landlords from keeping their properties vacant for long periods of time was narrowly approved by the Pound Ridge Town Board at a meeting on June 11. North Castle Officials Mull Brynwood Easement Structure ARMONK, N.Y. -- While the North Castle Town Board has given its first legislative approvals for a 73-home proposal at Brynwood Golf & Club, the structure of an accompanying conservation easement has yet to be finalized.
