FBI Advises No Charges Against Clinton In Probe Of Chappaqua Email Server FBI Director James Comey announced Tuesday that he will recommend to the U.S. Department of Justice not to bring criminal charges against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server, according to news reports. Comey, at the televised press conference, argued that no reasonable prosecutor would bring charges forward. Bedford Central Declares Impasse Over Teachers' Union Contract Talks BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The Bedford Central School District announced that its board and teachers' union are at an impasse over talks for a new contract, citing unsuccessful negotiations to date. Calling both parties "far apart in their positions," the district adds that talks will be picked up by the state's Public Employment Relations Board (PERB), which in turn will assign a mediator to help create a new agreement. Bedford School District Faces Large Turnover Of Top Officials BEDFORD, N.Y. -- With the close of the 2015-16 fiscal year coming on Thursday, a sizable number of senior officials in the Bedford Central School District will be stepping down or moving in-house. Video Shows Moose On The Loose In Millwood WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A moose was spotted wandering through a Millwood man's yard early Thursday morning. The man, who requested anonymity, shared video of the sighting, which shows the moose walking through his driveway. The moose subsequently passed into a neighbor's yard. The resident, whose home is on Hidden Hollow Lane, said he has never spotted a moose before. He woke up early in the morning after a neighbor's motion sensor went off, peered out a window and spotted the moose. Bedford Central's New Superintendent, Board Members Sworn In BEDFORD, N.Y. -- At the stroke of midnight on Friday, seven positions that are fixtures at Bedford Central school board meetings changed hands. The following morning, all of the successors took their seats for the board's first meeting of the 2016-17 school year. The newcomers include three board trustees, who were sworn in at the meeting. Moose On The Loose: New Sighting Reported In Millwood This story has been updated. WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Bedford Police received half a dozen calls of a moose in the vicinity of Bedford Road and Harris Road, according to Police Officer John Moylan. The first calls, which were from passing drivers, came in on Wednesday morning at around 6:45 a.m. and about 7:30 a.m. Moylan said that a photo of the moose confirmed its presence. Route 172 Reopens After Crash Near I-684 This story has been updated. A stretch of South Bedford Road (Route 172) near I-684 has reopened after an accident Wednesday afternoon. The eastbound side of 172 was closed and there was intermittent traffic moving through the westbound side following the crash, according to Bedford Police. The accident was reported around 2 p.m., and the roadway reopened by 2:30 p.m.
