These CT Hospitals Got 'A' Rating For Patient Safety, Report Says Several hospitals in Connecticut earned the top grade for keeping patients safe, according to a new report. More than 10 hospitals in the state were awarded an "A" grade for patient safety in a new Spring 2023 report by the Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit watchdog organization that advocates for safety in hospitals. Woman Charged After Dog Found Loose In Traffic In Northern Westchester: Police A woman faces criminal charges after authorities found her unlicensed dog loose in traffic at night in Northern Westchester, police said. Yorktown resident Kathleen O'Connell, age 30, was served a criminal summons on Wednesday, May 3 for failing to license her dog, a violation of Yorktown town code, according to Yorktown Police. Man Wanted For Posing As Firefighter At CT Ice Cream Shop, Police Say Authorities are looking for a man who allegedly impersonated a fire department official at an ice cream store in Connecticut, police said. In New Haven County, the Milford Police Department has issued an active arrest warrant for 57-year-old Michael Carrion, who allegedly impersonated a Milford Fire Department official on Tuesday, Feb. 21, authorities said. Man's Body Found Inside Concrete Tube At Nature Park In Westchester: Police Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a concrete drainage pipe at a hiking park in Westchester.
