A gas leak caused by construction resulted in part of a busy Fairfield County road being closed to traffic.  The gas leak began on Thursday, June 15 in Ridgefield in the CVS parking lot at 467 Main St., Ridgefield Emergency Management announced just before 4:40 p.m. The leak was caused by construction activity in the area, officials said.  Main Street between Bailey Avenue and Prospect Street was closed before being reopened late Thursday afternoon.

Ramp Closure: Traffic Between I-287, Parkway To Be Impacted In Westchester Traffic between Interstate 287 and a busy parkway in Westchester will soon be impacted by an upcoming ramp closure that will last more than a week.  The ramp between I-287 East and the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Elmsford is set to close between Thursday, June 15 at 5 a.m. and Friday, June 23 at 5 p.m., according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closure is to facilitate ramp maintenance, officials said.  Commuters are asked to use the posted detour to State Route 119 as an alternate route.
